2013 Longstreth / NFHCA Division III National Player of the Year

Congratulations to the 2013 Longstreth/ NFHCA Division III National Player of the Year, Kelly Blackhurst!

The NFHCA Office is pleased to announce that Kelly Blackhurst from Skidmore College has been selected as the 2013 Longstreth / NFHCA Division III National Player of the Year.

The 2013 Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year, Blackhurst scored 32 goals and dished out 15 assists for 79 points during the 2013 season. She led the Thoroughbreds to a 19‐4 overall record, the 2013 Liberty League Championship, and a trip to the NCAA Final Four.

Blackhurst ended the 2013 campaign ranked 5th in career scoring in Division III, netting 105 career goals and posting 54 career assists for 264 career points. A four‐time Liberty League First Team selection, a three‐time Longstreth / NFHCA All‐American selection, and a two‐time Longstreth / NFHCA North Atlantic Region Player of the Year, Blackhurst concludes her career at Skidmore as the all‐time leading scorer at the college and in the Liberty League.
