2013 Longstreth / NFHCA Division II Regional Players of the Year

Congratulations to the 2013 Longstreth/ NFHCA Division II National Players of the Year, Jessica Otis and Brianna White!

The NFHCA Office is pleased to announce that the following athletes have been selected as 2013 Longstreth / NFHCA Division II Regional Players of the Year:

North Region Player of Year: 
Jessica Otis, Merrimack College
Jessica Otis tallied 11 goals and 12 assists for the Warriors, ranking second on the team in total points
with 34. A 2013 Longstreth / NFHCA First Team All‐American and a Northeast‐10 All‐Conference First Team selection, the midfielder led Merrimack to the school’s third consecutive trip to the NCAA
Semifinal Game.


South Region Player of the Year: 
Brianna White, Shippensburg University
A 2013 Longstreth / NFHCA First Team All‐American selection and an All‐PSAC First Team selection, Brianna White recorded 15 goals and 11 assists for 41 points during the 2013 season. White scored the game‐clinching goal against Millersville to help the Raiders advance to the National Championship Game and then coverted a penalty stroke in overtime to lead Shippensburg to its first National Championship.

The 2013 Longstreth / NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year will be announced by the NFHCA Office on Wednesday, December 4th.
